Emptiness
had held me here for hours
wondering how to say goodbye

I’m not a dramaic man
I’m just a simple guy
I’d rather slip away
than say goodbye

But I’ve lost others who left
and never said a word

the emptiness

to hang on to a youthful dream
that the world would melt away
and leave you to be my queen

These dreams of love die so hard
Life has dealt another hurtful card
and this hurt I can hardly bear
