My fiancé left in January for a year in Korea. We are getting married when he comes home. I’ve been keeping a journal that I will give to him when he comes home. I include things about my days, work, the kids, as well as thoughts… I’ve even written on the days we have our tiffs, because that’s all part of it. I’ve included poems and pictures of us or places I’ve been. It helps when the distance really gets to me. It’s a small way to keep him close even though he’s half a world away.
