I love him, but dose he know it? He says he loves me to but dose he really? I can’t see to be able to tell. He says he misses me more than anything, he is scared to talk to me and I am afraid to talk to him. I don’t know what to say. When we talk on the phone it’s manly very quiet.He doesn’t say much and neither do I. I try to start a conversation but he never replies. I ask him to say something and all he ever says is… “I love you, I want you back, and I miss you.” What do I do? I can’t think straight. His name is everywhere. Should I tell him I still love him and always will? Someone please help me. I open my mouth to say how I real feel about him, but nothing ever seems to come out. He means the world to me and he doesn’t even know it. I can’t seem to tell him. I want to be with him. What should I do? No one will help me because no one cares. At least that’s what it seems like. He clams he care, I want to believe him but they tell me it isn’t true. I won’t listen to them because I know it’s true. I now know who I am in love with. It is him and his name is… NATHAN GRANT SMITH! The one I love.

Promise are meant to be broken, is just another way to tell a lie. If you promise someone you will probably forget about it, no one cares how the other person would feel about this, the person who you made the promise to. No one thinks before making promises they just make it and then never fulfill them.

Chapter 12

“How

I gotta admit… I didn’t really come up with this story on my own, I got inspired by Cranies Chapter 8 (Written by: Lina Brown). In the section with Rosa and the Firefighter. And hey, I’m not copying her AT ALL, just taking a little idea and changing it up A LOT!
It’s called ‘Halo’…. I’ll have it up soon. As for ‘VIP’ the story I’m working on currently. It will still being going on I’m just kinda stuck on it momentarily.
For those who read my oldest story ‘Just Play the Card Given’ I don’t think I will be working on it any time soon. I know I promised I’ll work on during summer. But I have ‘Halo’ and ‘VIP’ to work on so I’ll have to put it off until Fall maybe.

Sella moved about the room picking up the book lying on the floor and taking it to the adjoining study, to place in on the stack of school books kept on the table. she also righted the writing materials and the spare paper lying around on the table. she also moved back the drapes and opened the windows fully for the fresh air to come into the room. Sihara liked her room airy and fresh smelling in the morning, so Sella placed a bowl full of water, floating on which were roses, jasmine and a few drops of lavender oil.

Then making sure the room looked exactly to Sihara’s specifications she moved closer to the bed and called Sihara by her name. there was a stir under the blankets and then a moan,

“Is it morning already? oh and i went to sleep so late, let me sleep for a bit longer” the disjointed voice said.

“No more dilly-dallying. Get up and getup now!” Sella warned. ” you have to meet your grandfather today. and he wont take well to late coming.”

A face appeared from under the covers. It was a 10 year old child. Beautiful black eyes which were surrounded with dark lashes the same color squinted at Sella sleepily.

“He is the King of Canderbour and he is late everywhere he is expected. how can he expect others to be early for him?” yawning Sihara sat up on the bed while Sella went about folding the covers back from her body.

“You answered your own question. He is the king! And you are the Crown princess. So you better behave young lady!”

“Oh all right! I am just 10 year old and why do I have to get up so early? Maia doesn’t.” she said stubbornly.

“I know all your tricks so don’t try to hoodwink me.” Sella smirked.

“Trick you?” Sihara asked innocently, getting off the bed and moving to the bathroom attached to her suites, ” Why the thought didn’t even cross my mind.
“But it is worth considering. It has possibilities, Sella.” Sihara winked and closed the door.

She didn’t like anyone waiting on her especially when she was bathing. She liked her privacy and hugged it close to her.

She walked down the hallway to meet her grandfather, Gee Pa as she called him privately. There was very little formality between them and the King loved his oldest granddaughter very much because he found so much in common with the child. Though she was so young she understood the state affairs so well and even dared to make suggestions and state her opinions which would more often than not coincide with the optimum solution.

She knocked on the door and smiled at the guard at the doors. All the Palace staff loved her and adored her because she never ill treated any of the employees.
“Good morning Your Majesty” the guards greeted her.
“Good morning to you too. Is His Majesty entertaining any guests now?” seeing as there was no reply to her knock.
“Ah Well,” the guards fidgeted, ” His majesty is with her Majesty, The Queen and…” he trailed away.
“Her daughter.” Sihara completed for him saving him the embarrassment.

It was a known fact that the king had a very rocky marriage. Queen Marei was very beautiful but cold, not the perfect match for the warm hearted King Rudolpf. Her first born Ruha, Sihara’s mother was a much loved child by her father but her mother hated her because the child was just like her father, always laughing and playing. As she grew up her interests also became very different from her mother. the Queen liked to doll herself up and sit doing nonsense, while Ruha loved to ride, hunt, shoot with her crossbow and also travel.

When Ruha was 16 the Queen got pregnant again with her second child. But here was where the leash was pulled back. The King, in a very public manner denied the fatherhood of the child. He also went ahead to say that he had not even touched the Queen since the past 12 years, since he saw her punishing Ruha just for touching her dress with the latter’s grubby hands of a four year old.

That was a crushing blow to the Queen and she had never expected it. She had thought that fearing an embarrassment if her affair came forth, the King would agree to give the child his name. But not only did he refuse to do that he also refused to give any special titles and services provided only to the babies of the bloodline.

He announced that anyone calling the child by royal mode of address (i.e. Your Majesty, etc.) would be severely punished. Just because the child was the Queen’s Child it would be a Lord or a Lady but never a prince or a princess. It would not receive any royal allowances but its mother could give an allowance from her own income. also the child would be housed in the Queen’s Wing of the Palace and forbidden to enter the Court or any other Wing in any of the palaces.

The King never asked for any details regarding the child’s father. but he made sure all his orders were carried out. Canderbour didn’t have much in regard of affairs of the heart or children before marriage but Marriage was considered very pure and adultery wasn’t tolerated.

All were free to have their great love affair before marriage, applicable to both men and women, and if it culminated into marriage then it was considered very good. It was also understood if there were fickle relationships but the marriage bind was so strong that even the thought of breaking it off especially due to adultery was a sin.

There was the availability of divorce option but it was in dire circumstances and only with the King’s personal approval. Also there was a fee exacted from both the parties if the application was found to be unnecessary.

Surprisingly that was a very rare circumstance where a divorce was applied for. Mostly people made very sure before marriage and many didn’t even marry, but had children and lived like married couples.

Only three children were permitted for one person but you could have two children outside of marriage and then if you got married then you could have only one more child. With the relaxed social norms there had to a bind somewhere

Sihara was allowed to sit in her gee pa’s study. She could hear the shrill voice of Marei screaming at her Gee pa asking him to adopt the 12 year old Magna. And he kept silent and stuck to his word.

“…Your own precious daughter begot a bastard and you don’t question her? Instead you make it the Crown Princess. hah!! who knows which gutter worm is responsible for that abomination…”

“At least my mother had me when she wasn’t married!” Sihara hadn’t realized she had actually spoken except for the shock etched in the face of the occupants of the room.

King Rudolpf looked apprehensive after the shock wore off. Marei (funny how Sihara never added the Queen before her name…) looked coldly contemptuous and the exact replica of Marei, Magna had such a look of hatred in her eyes that any normal sane person would have cringed at that look. But Sihara was past caring now.

Her lips curled into a vicious sneer, ” Before you go raking the muck let me remind you, My mother wasn’t married when she had me. She had never deigned to stoop herself to having a lover when she was bound by marriage to someone.

“But wait a minute, why am I saying this to you? you are what you are. Showing you the mirror won’t change your hideousness. and as for your daughter do you realize that you have broken a carnal rule? She should never step foot in this palace.” she warned silkily.

Now the mother daughter duo had a flicker of fear in their eyes.

“But considering the fact that Gee pa is the one you are the guests of, I leave it for him to decide…” she spit out.

The King looked relieved and then said ” Marei, take your girl and never show her face ever again here. If this happens again I will not be responsible for what I do. “He growled, ” AND keep my daughter out of your filthy head and mouth!!!”

The Queen looked properly beaten and she turned to Sihara, ” You little runt, you will pay for this. you and your mother and your sister will all pay for this, ” she bent down to Sihara’s eye-level and continued in an icy voice, ” I will do that even if that is the last thing I do.”

Sihara looked into the blue eyes and stared back, ” We will see that. I will be waiting. “

Once the Queen and her daughter left, Sihara turned to look out of the window seeing nothing. Her thoughts were far away.

Her Gee pa’s word broke her reverie, ” You have to be careful now.”

“Hm mm, but i have to keep Maia safe now. SHE is like a wounded animal and her daughter is a snake. both will attack when we least expect it.”

“We have to be doubly careful from now on…” her Geepa said as a premonition and sighed releasing the pent up emotions.

But Sihara had realized something just then. She had to grow up, and grow up stronger than them.

The next morning Sandra was greeted by the sound of Daniel
