It was in Middle School, we had a kind of prom ‘cept it was for the 8th graders, and all the guys wore suits and the girls wore dresses and stuff. A guy I liked had asked me to the dance earlier, and we met there. The dance itself was really fun. Afterwords he came over to my house for a little while. We live on a beautiful creek, and in my backyard we have a hammock by the waterside. The moon was up and there were tons of stars in the sky. The way the moon hit the water was just amazing, everything looked so beautiful. Anyway, me and my date went and sat on the hammock and talked for a while. Then he looked up at me and we looked in each others eyes for a long time. He leaned forward and kissed me. Then, pretty much as soon as his lips touched mine, the strings holding the hammock up broke and we both fell to the ground. We looked at each other then cracked up laughing. It was an amazing first kiss to me, better then I could’ve imagined… it was the kind that you know you’ll never forget :]

This is just the shortest of stories, but tells of that first kiss with my her, that feeling that has never ever left me, the most wonderful of moments I shall treasure always. And you know what reader?…this feeling just gets better and better each time!

We parked our cars that warm summer evening. We parked on busy roads adjacent to our destination- a park of woodland and trees, of childhood memories of ice creams and fun with parents. I wondered as we walked that night whether she knew just what this place had meant to me when growing up.

We walked in, keen to hide ourselves from view. We walked a short time. Our conversation free, but still both of us nervous and unsure. After all, neither of us knew the other and neither of us could possibly comprehend the long loving this night would set us out upon.

Eventually we settled on a nearby bench. Both nervous, both unsure. We talked, brief touches of her shoulder as i grew bolder. Eventually, not knowing what do do or say i simple said such an old fashioned thing..”can i kiss you?”. I steeled myself,ready for our first kiss, never imagining the connection we would both feel within seconds. She closed her eyes and i reached forward, held her face softly in my hands. For some reason i remember asking her if she was ready. Why i do no know, perhaps deep down knowing this feeling we were about to experience would be so different to anything before for either of us?

I held her face and watched as i moved towards her and her eyes closed. I will never forget that moment. I paused and brushed her lips gently with mine, taking her in, before gently kissing her and allowing that feeling now so familiar to us both to sweep over us……total awe and contentment. We embraced and both of us knew right then…..this was diferent.

Later, we shared ourselves in ways and with a connection no person could ever understand. a secret memory of wooded heaven..a first..the start of lifetimes longing…a journey of discovery x

And you know what? i dont get to kiss her as often as i would like, circumstances dictate that we cannot ‘be’ as we wish. But each and every time, even now, a year from that beautiful summers evening…..every time i lock my eyes with hers and embrace her, a new and wonderful feeling drowns me, a power so strong that i know……this is truley a once in a lifetime kiss..we both know it x

Making your partner feel loved is usually a high priority for most couples. However, it can get a little redundant writing love notes or sending cards or flowers. Ok so I am going out with this really great guy and I don’t know how to tell my best friend because she “loves” him but she loves everyone that comes her way. I know she will be mad at me but 1) she dated my ex-fiancé and 2) the guy I’m with didn’t even want to be with her.He’s been over her for a LONG time. I mean I know it don’t make it right but I really care about him and it’s been really hard not telling her because of the fact it’ll make her mad and I’ve wanted so bad to say something to her when I see his name on her hand or I hear her talk about his d*ck. By the way no nothing happened. I mean me and this guy really care about each other and neither of us want to lose her friendship but at the same time we don’t want to lose each other.

So can someone please give me some advice? Lose what could be the best guy I will ever have… Or lose the person that has been my friend for a while?

Sometimes I sit in my room and ask myself questions I dont have the answers for.
Sometimes I lie in my bed at night praying and crying myself to sleep wondering how and what you are doing and if anyone is hurting you. Sometimes I feel like puting my life on hold to make sure your okay. Wondering if you love me or not.When i know you do.
So all I can do is pray untill the day its time to change.The day its time to make life for what it is and not be ashamed.Thats what I do when I think about you.
